Spring Adult and Family Tennis
We are happy to announce that we will be offering adult tennis lessons again from May 7th through June 4th. The 5-week Spring Social Adult & Family classes are offered each week in Albany and Schenectady.
The first class – Adult Social – begins Thursday, May 7th through June 4th from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Westland Hills Park in Albany, using a ball progression format, including red, orange, green and yellow balls. There will only be one rain date on 6/11.
The second class – Family Tennis – begins Saturday, May 2nd through May 30th from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Michigan Avenue Park in Schenectady. There will only be one rain date on 6/6.
The Family Class is for adults and kids to learn alongside each other using a ball progression format, including red, orange, green and yellow balls. The progression uses a smaller court and slower-bouncing balls geared toward new tennis players, which allows the player to grasp the fundamentals of tennis at their own pace. We encourage families to come together, but adults are welcome to come by themselves. Kids must attend with an adult.
